Did dinosaurs really move and behave the way they do on the silver screen? Were there ever any dinosaurs in Antarctica or the Philippines? And did the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex really look like a giant chicken?
Learn the answers to these questions and more, as The Mind Museum celebrates its 5th year with a prehistoric party! Visit The Mind Museum from September 1, 2017 to March 2, 2018 to see the popular international travelling exhibition, Dinosaurs Around the World.
A tour through the Triassic – and beyond
The exhibit is a 90-minute tour filled with advanced animatronics and educational activities. The tour also showcases authentic fossil casts of these prehistoric wonders, accompanied by informative text.
Dinosaurs Around The World isn’t just about the dinosaurs, though. Participants will also discover more about what the world was like, millions of years ago. Learn how dinosaurs spread throughout the globe thanks to plate tectonics and land bridges. You’ll also get a glimpse of how much the Earth has changed since then, based on extensive research about the geologic time scale and climatology.
A date with the dinosaurs
The Mind Museum offers two ways you can enjoy this exhibit.
You may choose to enter the Dinosaurs Around The World exhibit only (at Php 300 for adults and children). Alternatively, you can check out the exhibit, then go around The Mind Museum for 3 hours (at Php 825 for adults and Php 675 for children and private school students <up to college-level>).
Available time slots are from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, 10:30 AM to 12 NN, 12 NN to 1:30 PM, 1:30 PM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 4:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6 PM.
Also, if you’re a teacher looking to give your students a wonderful and memorable Mesozoic-themed field trip, you can go directly to the Imagine Exhibitions website to grab a copy of their Educator Guide. The Educator Guide contains activities your students can do before, during, and after their visit to the exhibit.
